Happy One Month Anniversary, Georgie/Gigi Girl

Oh my goodness, Georgie/Gigi (we affectionately call her both), it was a month ago today we were introduced and took that first amazing walk around campus! It felt like we were going to be a perfect match. Those two weeks to train with you at GDB were amazing -- loved my class experience, all at GDB that helped us, classmates, and our time to bond. I love how you have taken in the craziness of the past few weeks since we've been home with such stride and confidence. This is the first picture we took together :) outside our beautiful room at Guide Dogs for the Blind.
I am thrilled with your guide work, your sweet and fun personality, your amazing behavior already at the office on some long days (I know that kong with peanut butter and new bone helped :), and being such a beautiful part of my life. Here's to many years together.

I love greeting you with Hey there Georgie Girl each morning and receiving a bone and a whole body wag back :).
