Capturing Moments

I was so touched.  One of my colleagues came into the office while I was away and left me a Christmas present. Sweet. What made it even more sweet to me is she knew just where I would go to 'see' the gift! She had set it in a spot I couldn't miss -- where I had to go to get water for my next client.  I went to lunch with another friend and she set my present on my seat ... again where I couldn't miss.  Love their thoughtfulness.
I was talking with an amazing teen about processing and exploring how he knew someone he cared about was happy, sad, worried, etc.  (understanding empathy).  He told me he knew his mom was happy when she pulled them together after an experience for a picture.  I thought that was pretty insightful and told him I recognized that I do the same thing!  Capturing the moment!

So, it was very special when we met some friends that we met on our Europe trip and after an enjoyable dinner together we captured the moment with a picture!

ohhhh..so good to capture those moments, cause you never know WHEN the time for "that moment" will be gone.

Lovely picture, Becky... and an interesting question too:
"How do you know when you are happy?",
"What is happiness?",
"Can we control happiness?" etc, etc.
Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful, peaceful, happy Christmas.
