Smile

Treat in Lubeck, Germany.   I asked for the butterfly sugar cookie.  She had no idea what i was talking about - Steve pointed to it and she said oh cake!  I asked for Diet Coke ... what?  Coca Cola light, yes!
Wouldn't this be a fun porch to sit out on and enjoy :).  Cute little town in Sweden.
Steve inside Basil Church in Moscow.  I love when we can aim the camera and I can get a picture of him actually in the picture.  (I'm not the best photographer :).
Our first stop in Moscow was at a grocery store/mall.  I thought it was a little confusing grocery shopping at home in a new store.  This was a fun, memorable experience with bottled water being top priority.

The book I listened to for the trip - Flourish, Martin Seligman.  Fascinating.  Among the discussion the research benefits of Smiling:  makes you feel better, reduces blood pressure, boosts the immune system, and invites others into your life.

(I am trying to do a search in the book with my ipad for the specific research details ... not working.  Time for another lesson on how to use my ipad :)!

I need to remember to smile more often....I have actually used it a few times on my Kendyll. She has quite a temper, so I will be talking to her and have found that if I look at her and smile, she just can't help but smile back! No matter how angry she is. Its quite comical how well it works :)
Love all the fun pictures of your trip!

Oh, these pictures made me smile. What a wonderful peek into your exciting trip. The "cake" is beautiful!! Yum!

I love the idea of the book about smiling. I try to weave smiling into just about everything, so it seems like this book would really resonate with a See Beautiful mentality. I'll add it to my goodreads wish-list now. ;)
