Favorites of the Day ...

Starting the day running. This morning with two friends. I encouraged them to think of the fun we might have running a 1/2 marathon in St. George in January. They are pondering the thought.

Going back to Marina for my cut and color. I left feeling like 'a million bucks' PLUS being reunited with a friend I missed. A few months ago I had opted to walk to a closer place for a haircut. I'm back to someone I love. My sweet friend thanked me for asking her for a ride. We will work out the transportation every six weeks. So worth it.
Cricket (off-harness in our office) brought a client, who was feeling very sad, one of her bones.  The client said - that is just what I needed!  Just yesterday, Cricket was validated in a conference on the value of a dog in therapy.  She is holding her head high.

One of my favorites - Victor Frankl.  Favorite insight of his for the day:

Between stimulus and response there is a space.
In that space is our power to choose our response.
In our response lies our growth and our freedom.

Favorite surprise of the day - A sweet friend from Nebraska sent Kendall a Nebraska shirt.  He's going to a football game there with his grandpa in a couple weeks.  He was touched by her kindness, and this mom sure was as well.  Thanks, Kay.

Love it. Good luck with the marathon "encouraging." :)
And dogs should be included in all varieties of therapy-I really think there would be much quicker and effective progress. Yay Cricket.

I can't believe you are still running with that broken wrist! You are such an inspiration Becky!! And I'm so jealous of all of your St. George time! It's just beautiful there this time of year. We are going for Thanksgiving and I can't wait!

LOVE your new hair cut by the way - so stylish and fun!
