Networking

Cricket knew something was different this morning. We were up and ready to leave the door by 6:30 am. She was perky and ready to leave. (This girl can wake up so happy anytime and fall asleep so quickly. The life of a labrador.) I love Missy in the background observing.
Steve is a member of BNI (business networking international).  It is a really neat business national networking group that meets each week.  Today was their kick off meeting (they have been a new chapter for about two months). They were able to invite guests so I was able to join  him.  I love Steve so  much and so proud of him. I love their motto - Where "Givers Gain" Giving Business to Others You will Get Business in Return.
We met at a beautiful setting in East Bountiful where there is still snow on the ground. It was dark as this early morning meeting began. It is always delightful to be with Steve and fun to be a part of something that he is enjoying and has shared with me. This kind of experience is out of my comfort zone ... the concept of mingling and blindness is challenging to me...meet new people, pick up the cues that this conversation is over - time to move to the next one, shake hands or not?, etc but I enjoy it as well.  After mingling, as the meeting began we had the opportunity to introduce ourselves, our business and a catchy phrase about our business. For next time, I will need to think of a catchy phrase for my profession. There were about 85 people there -- The favorite phrase was the plumber that said - if its brown and won't go down, call me. I will remember and probably call that plumber if needed! At one point in the meeting we had a few minutes to again mingle and share our business cards individually with others. I stayed in one place and many came up to me and we were able to talk, get acquainted and share business cards.
I was really impressed with this professional organization and happy Steve is a member. I look forward to another time I can be his guest.   Grateful for Cricket who allows me to go anywhere with an added sense of confidence.

I don't feel comfortable to mix & mingle either. Believe it or not, I'm shy in that setting. We've been thinking about adding a catchy phrase to our business too. Of course, we need a photo of Dakota with his mouth wide open & we can say, "We take a bite out of crime."

Oh, those types of things make me nervous too. But, sounds like you and Cricket handled it really well and that it was such a great opportunity. Love the plumbers phrase. That's funny!

I understand 'out of the comfort zone' also. I belong to a group of women, The Women's Entreprenurial Organization, women promoting their businesses.Once a month we get together for an hour of networking then enjoy dinner and a speaker together. Do I put my dog down under the table so I can move about? Or set my eyes on someone I want to approach across the room and say forward, right right right" around the maze of circular tables? When I do this the person is often gone by the time we arrive. The the conversation about Mirage or my eyes.
All I want to say is. I create watercolor art for the intimate spaces in your home and Heart!"
Love Suzy!

Some miners are afraid to use hosting services just because they find it impossible to track the result. But I can say the following! There are crypto mining companies in uae https://minery.io/ae/ that work officially. Companies like Mineri can be safely trusted. Because using hosting services, the user has the opportunity at any time to track all operations using his personal account.
