Girl Time

Sometimes when Cricket and I are having a day with the girls and out shopping, I think of one of her trainers who did NOT like to shop or really to even be near the mall. One of our last days of training we worked inside the mall on a busy Saturday. I was so excited -- this experience would really give me the chance to see Cricket in our world. Cricket did amazing - weaving through the crowds, hopping on the escalator, and the trainer stated that was even worth coming to the mall to see her work so well! It must be pretty incredible to see these dogs go from a puppy to giving someone their independence! Today we had a fun day with some of the girls from our office. One of them took a picture of Cricket inside the dressing room. It is a couple hours past her dinner and she was SO patient - even though she is working the crowd with her sad eyes.
I keep being drawn to these comfortable shorts that have the 'worn out' look. With the gift card the ladies gave me, I bought a pair of shorts.
What do you think? The tag is still on if they look too worn out :D Its still a little chilly here to wear them, but I put these on and am SO super excited to be going to San Diego to visit Adam, Natalie & Dahlia soon! The boys (Steve and Kendall) are off to basketball games. I asked Steve if he wanted to take the camera and get some pictures of them together - to capture the memory. He said he thought they would be okay .. his way of saying no! They have enjoyed some super exciting basketball games the last few days. Go boys and yay for girl time.

I like the shorts! Glad Cricket likes to shop so much!

I remember when I got to walk with Runza under blindfold it was so amazing. I couldn't believe this dog I had taken in at 8 weeks was now weaving me around parked cars and construction. It was a thrill a minute.

Fun shorts, for sure. I say, enjoy 'em! :-)

Cricket looks like a sweet shopping buddy. :-)

I just bought a pair of brown capris that looked kind of "junior"-ish, with lots of pockets and drawstrings at the bottom of the legs. I wore them yesterday and loved them. So I say yes to the worn-out look, too. It's fun to be a little bit trendy!

Hi Becky and Cricket, great to meet you and thanks for visiting our blog! I took Ruby to the mall the other day and she was AWESOME -- chip off the ol' block, I have to say! She's a born shopper, just like her mom. :)

Looking forward to following your adventures! PS - Yes to the shorts, you look great!!!
