Goals for the Month

Okay, I am going to put this goal for the month on my blog  This is a month to save & be frugal so I am making the goal to not shop at Ann Taylor or Ann Taylor Loft for the month of February! You laugh ... this is NOT easy.   Each morning my email greets me with a message from Ann. Just today I was telling my friends at the office that the colors for the month of February were grey and coral -- they said how do you know that! Well, Ann emailed and told me. I look forward to finding a fun little spring outfit March 1st to celebrate my accomplishment - assuming I make it (good thing February is a short month).
Oh my, I just want to squeeze this girl ... love her! She did fabulous on our walk today (sunshine midday found us enjoying a nice brisk walk).  Other goals: continue to learn my victor reader, nice long walk with Cricket each day, & get on that exer bike 2x/week (starting sloooow).

What a goal to not shop the Loft. I went shopping this morning. I won't tell you that they have an extra 50% off their reduced merchandise. However, they don't have any small sizes left on the sale rack, so you probably wouldn't find anything. I was very diappointed, since I wanted a new pair of cheap jeans. Drats!

I need to shop with you for a wardrobe to take to Rome! Have you been there?
Apparently solid colors in classic styles that are warm, lightweight and don't wrinkle would be perfect. Well?
You 'look' for me and have your Ann call my Ann in Portland for a concierge . . . yes, shop for me Becky!

Debi - are you serious! Okay, this may be one of my most short lived goals! You know how I love mark downs of mark downs! No small sizes? Sorry -- that may help me keep my goal!
Susan - Rome! How exciting!! We were there almost two years ago! I wouuld love to go shopping together -- what fun we would have! Or, yes, shop for you! Let's talk.

I love the idea of continual goal setting. Good luck. I know how hard it is NOT to do something. Mine this month has been sweets and it's been VERY hard!
