Embracing the Season

The air is crisp, darkness comes sooner (no more evening bike rides), and many flowers are finished for the season. Mixed emotions -- I love Fall ... not winter. I love gardening but am ready to spend some time on indoor projects.
I hope to make last year's spring trip to see the flower fields in Carlsbad an annual tradition. That was so much fun to leave snow behind and walk amongst the flowers with my daughter and friend, Christy. In the meantime, will enjoy the moment.

I love the season of fall & I'm with you concerning winter. I don't like it either. I am looking forward to indoor projects too. Maybe a redo on our kitchen?
