Compassionate Cricket

This is one of my favorite pictures of Cricket - given to me by her puppy raiser, Kim. I love this picture because it really tells you so much about Cricket. (Notice she is staying in the sit position but reaching out to give her love!) She has such a deep love for people. Often when I am leading a group and she is able to be 'off harness' she will walk over to a person that is crying and rest her head on their knee. She is somehow able to keep this intact when she is in harness and needs to focus on the task at hand. (Because of her love for people, I do have to be more diligent on asking people not to pet her when she is in harness and working.)

What a dog. Actually, more like a little fur person...

Hi Becky -

I'm Lacey's sister-in-law and I love your blog. Cricket is straight from heaven and I'm confident Lacey feels really blessed by your friendship.
