Beautiful Gift

Yesterday we had our follow-up visit with a Guide Dogs for the Blind instructor. Steve dropped me off to meet up with the instructor at 9:30. I walked through Temple Square and Georgie did great navigating through the busy sidewalk. We met Danielle, the GDB instructor, on the south side. First we sat down and had a visit on how Georgie is doing. She is doing so well! I wanted to practice escalators, navigating through the mall, and geting more familiar with the route to Steve's office. Funny note: Guides become familiar with your points that you stop on a regular basis. As we were walking back to the car, she stopped and was ready to turn into Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory :). She was just checking ... Carmel Apple today? :).
Thank you Guide Dogs for the Blind for the incredible support you give to us! For almost 17 years I have experienced their amazing support of helping me be a successful team with three beautiful guides. Such a beautiful gift.

Georgie, you're brilliant. Stop at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory anytime....it might be just what Becky needs at that moment! :-)

I love guide dogs for the blind & that's why I volunteer. The best gift that I have received through GDB was your gift of friendship.
