My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

Sweet duo

Georgie and I just celebrated two months together. She is doing so well! Whether it is a busy day at the office which means quiet time on her bed or an active packed day of travel and adventure; she is taking it all in with love and adventure. Love her confidence, ability to learn new routes and words and her happiness of life. She greets me in the morning with her whole body wagging and usually a bone in her mouth.  Oh how she loves a good kong and her jolly ball. Georgie loves to sit by my feet especially while I am at the computer. She has a permanent rug there now to make it comfy. Cricket is happy and doing well. She seems quite content now with sending Georgie on her way for the day of work. She loves a nice walk, snuggle time and visits to give her love to others.

They have become great friends.  They walk around the house together side by side. They love to share a kong both carrying it in their mouths.  As hard as we've tried we can't seem to catch them in action.  One of our favorite walks is along Bountiful Bouldevard where there is a nice wide sidewalk for two people and two dogs! Actually, for the time we had Dahlia we learned it can fit three dogs :)!
I am grateful for these beautiful guides - the blessings, freedom, and sweet joy they have brought into my life.
