My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

Love

It was our mom's grief and the holidays luncheon today. This is for mom's who have had a child die. They are incredible women - loving, giving, sharing support to one another and so many others in the community. The tree in the middle had candles and each person had a candle - lit it - shared a special attribute about their child. As the tree was all lit it represented: loved Christmas, made me laugh, faith, hope, love of life, laughter, and service (and so much more).
These women are beautiful. One of my amazing interns from a few semesters back came and led us in a meditation. She is a yoga instructor and has such a beautiful calming voice. She invited us to seek an intention this holiday season. Mine was Celebrate Simply with Love.

I love that you help loss moms get together and feel each other's strength. My heart goes out to every one of them!
