My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

Puppies changing lives

Attended a Guide Dogs for the Blind -  Greatest Paws on Earth Chapter Meeting today.  Oh the joy of holding a 11-week old puppy.  Sweet Gabby.   Puppy raisers are AMAZING!!  Sweet little puppies that become guide dogs that change people's lives are AMAZING!!  Cricket seems to be filling Gabby in on her journey ahead!

Cricket and I leave in the morning for meetings at the Guide Dogs for the Blind San Rafael campus  I have the wonderful opportunity to serve as the Chair of the Alumni Association this coming year.  I will be attending meetings with my amazing board that I am looking forward to introducing to you in the weeks to come :).  We are all flying in with our guide dogs from all over the country and Canada, too!
