Steve is my rock. My #1 fan - support in everything I do. If I have a dream, he asks how can I support you with that? My best friend for almost 30 years now. We laugh, play, problem solve, work hard, laugh and play some more together. The picture below is a sweet memory from our trip back to NYC a few weeks ago. The picture Steve is holding is of his parents in this same hotel - the Waldorf Astoria on their one date before they corresponded for a year while his dad was at war. His dad, like Steve, was so sweet and kind to his mother. We wanted to find this big ballroom. One evening while we were there Steve felt like now was the time someone in the hotel may have the information. We went down to the lobby and a night manager knew just what room it would have been back in the day. He took us in a back room overlooking this beautiful ballroom where his parents had their first date. It was amazing and you could visualize the two of them nearly 70 years ago dancing in this amazing ballroom. It was a special moment for us, too.
I love you so much, Steve. Get well soon.
