Making a difference

I am leaving for the office inspired my good friend, Melissa .  She is not only an advocate and example for others who are experiencing vision loss but also an example of the value of our voice -- making a difference.  Love her!   Please take a minute (well four minutes) to watch/listen to: Melissa's story

The English translation is here
After watching the clip, I invite you to put yourself in her shoes ... what would you do?  I am inspired by her ability to make a difference in such a positive way.  She is an example of the ability we each have to channel a difficult experience into positive.  I know that her tireless efforts of the past few months have already made such a positive impact to many!

Thanks for this post, Becky. Not only did it introduce me to Melissa, but it also introduced me to “Google Translate” – I’ve never used Google Translate before, and loved reading the translation from Swedish, especially the way the translated article refers to us as “service dog drivers.” Fantastic!
