An inspiring read

Last evening with Cricket running between checking on me with my foot up in bed and Steve sick in the family room (she is such a great nurse), I finished the book: Until I say goodbye.   Full of messages of hope, love, cherish each day, and acceptance.  Accept the life that comes.  Work and strive, but accept.  Don't force the world to be the one you dream.  The reality is better.  Susan Spencer-Wendel.

I was told today to not put weight on my foot ... crutches - blind?  There's got to be a better way!  In the meantime, Cricket and I are on our way to work with sunshine.  Oh, how I would love to go for a long walk with Cricket.  Instead, we will sit out on our bench by our office and enjoy some sunshine and accept the life that comes.

Oh my goodness....how did I get so far behind on your posts. Sheesh.
Truthfully, I haven't been blogging much as of late. Kinda seem to be loosing some interest there.
Sorry about your foot. I am sure that was disappointing for you.
That book sounds good.
I just read I Wasn't Ready To Say Goodbye...by Brook Noel and Pamela D. Blair.
Wish I would have found that book back when Matthew died. I found it quite helpful.

Sounds like when it rains, it pours. I'm sorry Steve is sick, too. So hard for two people that are so active and healthy.

Is Steve trying to keep a distance to keep you from getting sick?

Hope the weekend holds better circumstances for you. Hugs.
