Forty-five degrees seemed balmy and warm enough to enjoy a walk. We enjoyed movies, listening to a book Daring Greatly by Brene Brown - not a light read :), eating out, chatting and reflecting on the past year and planning for the new year!
Cricket might have appreciated a coat? I was hoping her fur coat and moving at a fast pace kept her warm. She seemed to enjoy it once we got started. I really liked our walk through the mall :). She is such a good girl. I am so grateful that she is in good health and at age 7 1/2 enjoying life as a guide dog. I filled a couple pages starting .. In 2013 I _________________________. Lots of 'to do'/goals that I hope to check off ... a couple that I am a little surprised that I put down that I need to pause and say now, Becky are you serious? :). Mostly, I hope to live each day to its fullest with passion for what I believe and compassion for self and others.
To be continued ...
Happy New Year!

Looks like sweet Cricket needed a rest for your rest in St. George. Happy and joy filled New Year to you and your family.
Blessings,
Goose
I always love the pictures of Cricket....she is such a doll!
And I love the pictures of you, too, Becky! :)
Happy New Year. I hope you get to check off a lot of your "to do" items (even the ones where you say, "Becky, are you serious?"). We should all try some "Are you serious?" stuff in 2013.
You are so good about setting goals. I don't do that, and is it any wonder I don't get much accomplished!! It's so hard to believe Cricket is 7.5 years old. Where does the time go.
I love the "to be continued" piece of this. It shows that even in those moments of "Becky, are you serious? (as I ask myself these types of questions all the time)" there's that "to be continued" part that doesn't make it feel like we have to do it all at once, or even all by ourselves. That's a blessing (oh, and so are you and Cricket!).
