Moving Forward
Cricket and I went for a walk during our break today. We were sad that our Dick's Market that we walked up to for so many years is no longer there. Yes, it has only moved a couple miles down the road but for me in walking during a break it may as well be 20 miles! Okay, I feel better after that vent. Even though we don't have something as yummy as their bakery to motivate us to go for a walk, we are still trying to get our walks in! On the walk back, a friend called. I stopped walking while we talked. (You know no texting while driving or chatting on the phone while you need to focus on walking with your guide.) I was chatting with a friend who is going through a difficult situation on the phone. We were about finished and so I picked up Cricket's harness. She veered me around a little obstacle and so I said 'Good girl, Forward' to her while I was still on the phone with my friend! My friend said, that is what I need to remember - that I am a good girl and moving forward :)!

Moving forward, one step at a time. I can use that advise this week. Thanks for the inspiration.
PRICELESS.....
inspiration given without your even knowing it.
That's so perfect!
"Good girl. Forward." I'm going to remember that quote and use it on myself in the pool. Sometimes, it's hard to motivate myself for two more laps, four more laps, etc. Thanks, Becky and Cricket.
