What are the chances?

We were waiting at the JFK airport for our flight to Sweden when we were tapped on the shoulder to discover our dear friends from Centerville!  How fun to reconnect at the airport.  The story gets better - we were on the same flight because they had been bumped (sorry for them - yay for us).  Then, we learned we were staying the same night at the same hotel in Sweden!  We spent the evening together in Old Town in Stockholm, Sweden.  We laughed as we have tried to get together and schedules haven't quite worked in our own town but across the world we were able to pull it off.  Love them and what a fun way of connecting to start off our trip.

Funny note - just before we met up with them I realized I hadn't packed any make-up.  What could I do but just not worry about it -- side benefit for not using a mirror, right!  It was pretty nice - I may leave it home next trip :).

That is amazing to connect with friends when you're clear across the world from home! Glad you've had such a wonderful time. That's a trip we'd love to go on along with a re-run of Denmark.
I'm sure you look beautiful with or without make-up. You could get away with it! Love you, Loye

That is indeed amazing! I live near a place called Centerville, wonder if it's the same place.

Well, with your smile and nice complexion, it doesn't seem like you even need any makup! Sometimes a natural colored lip balm can do the trick. :) How lucky to run into friends on your way around the world.

Now that's a coincidence and a great one at that!! How fun! I've noticed that we have more success with last-minute get-togethers than if we plan something for a month! Go figure!

What a great way to take a vacation from make up! Some women may have gone out and bought all new everything; it's refreshing and wonderful that you just went without. I love it!
