Humor. Retinitis Pigmentosa.

Bright top that I found at TJ Maxx.  Sweet Cricket was pulling at her wound so back on the shirt.  Have a looser one at the office she can wear for the day.
I thought that I laughed a lot so I was a little surprised when it was way down, #8, on my Strengths on my Authentic Happiness test taken yesterday.

For instance, Steve and I were in TJ Maxx in St. George over the weekend.  He left me near the XS Women's Tops for a moment.  I found several tops to try on.   Then, I was like okay - I have no clue where the dressing room is - thank heavens for cell phones.  We just got the giggles laughing at this little predicament and my ability to find several shirts inspite of a little challenge.

I have been getting some extra training on my adaptive daily living skills.  It seems whenever I hit a little bump in the road - I know there is simply a different way to do it.  So, my teacher sat down with me and very seriously asked so what do you do for dinner?  I had to laugh as with our schedules these days ... take out. drive through.  sometimes sitting down at the restaurant.  Perhaps the question had me leave today with items in the crockpot and a smile on my face.

Its an old joke but it always makes me laugh.  I have my sock drawers labeled - black and blue and middle is white/brown/neutral.  Whenever Steve puts them away he asks me again which says black in braille.  Silly - he doesn't need to read the braille to know which is black.

I know we've still got some weeks of winter left, but with a day at home I found myself moving winter clothing out and spring clothing in.  That makes me smile and when it snows again I may laugh or cry :).

Natalie, Adam and Dahlia are going to have our same zip code.  This just has me smiling!

Gotta love laughing! If we forget to laugh things all go down hill. Researchers have shown that children laugh an average of 300 times per day, and adults only 30. No wonder we all wish we could live life with the enthusiasm of a three-year-old! Love that you're breaking the laughing-more-than-30-times-a-day average!

We love the sock drawer story. Is Cricket feeling better? She's been in our thoughts and prayers. What joy to have your daughter and son-on-law nearby (and Dahlia, of course). We have daffodils just now blooming in SW Ohio - lots of crocuses, too. Spring must be here!
