Happy Working Girls

On the way to the office, we stopped at Costco to pick up water and candy. Two basic necessities at Resilient Solutions, Inc.. I planned to put on Cricket's harness without the handle and heel her while I held on to the cart with Steve. She was so excited to wear her harness I decided to try and see how it felt to her. She immediately started to pull. She had her happy bounce in her step and guided me through Costco. It was amazing and reminded me of the first day with a guide dog.  We were both smiling. Happy Day!
We returned back to my office, and took her harness off for the rest of the day.  She was so happy and had an extra bounce in her step all day.

A new client came in and said that is a happy dog.  She has such a sense of purpose.  I laughed and said she got it back today.

Have a great weekend.

I'm so glad Cricket is excited to work and healthy to boot. Routines are so comforting. P.S. I love your new haircut!

Love your haircut, Becky! I hadn't read your blog in a while, and when I saw something had been wrong with Cricket I panicked and had to read 4 or 5 pages' worth of posts to make sure that she is all right now!! I'm super relieved to hear that Cricket's going to be OK, and that she's happily back to work. :-) Give her a little extra love from me!

Cricket is just too adorable. I'm always amazed at how smart guide dogs are, and other dogs trained for various helpful reasons.
