My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

Pictures. Retinitis Pigmentosa
One of my colleagues that wanted to see my dress from the Guide Dogs for the Blind Holiday Luncheon found the pictures . I was once again touched that I work with some incredible people that take such an interest in each other's lives. They also have each spent time wearing my goggles recently. These simulated goggles give one a sense of what it is like with Retinitis Pigmentosa. They don't make goggles for the visual field/acuity that I have - he told me tell them to just close their eyes! However, I do have a pinhole of vision and these goggles do give one a sense.
