My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

Friendship. Flights 58 & 59.

This cute dog is who I put my trust in safe travels. It works so well!
The suitcase is out and Cricket is staying close by.   She's brought all her bones in to help entertain her while she stays watch over the suitcase til we leave!

Quick little girls trip to visit our dear friend Debi and attend the Fall Guide Dog Luncheon This is our fifth year ... now, that is a special tradition!

I'm a little nervous about the whole security check through, broken arm and such.  But, as Steve often tells me - there's just not much that stops you.  He's learned to just step out of the way or hop on and enjoy the ride :).  We have a pretty good system at the airport.  He'll drop me off, with Cricket, carry-on and ticket in hand and from our drop off point, I simply walk straight to security.  If needed, he can walk me to the gate or I'll ask for assistance.

Happy Weekend!

Safe travels.
And it sounds like Steve is right with regards to nothing stopping you. :)

When I got out my suitcase to pack for school again, Hilly put all of her toys in on top of my clothes. Haha!
