A labyrinth represents your life journey. Each person that walks along this path will have a different experience. You walk in carrying the weight you are feeling, reflecting, and trying not to talk (okay, I had a hard time not saying anything) and in the center you try to let go of something and walk back out a little lighter. It can be something simple or something heavy - depending on what your day is like.
This will be amazing and purple we were told in June/July. Also, they are having a 5K run down there, too. If it was a longer run, I'd be tempted. Its still about two hours from our house.
There were kids playing all around, a sweet little pond with paddle boats, and super helpful ladies in the gift shop. We just had to buy some lavender lotion, spray, and lozenges for Steve's throat, because they were so nice! I thought of you, Natalie , when they told us they had Lavender Honey.

My friend, I hope you do not have to go through the steroid injection again. I know you will understand the joy I get from an overcast day and the relief on our eyes! Please let me know how your appointments go, I am thinking of you.
I'm sorry, I didn't know that strong sunshine affected your eyes so painfully. I hope you will be able to get some help for that this week.
The photos are gorgeous! Those big rolling clouds make the labyrinth even more beautiful. I love the smell of lavender, too--it smells like summer.
I have another friend who is very interested in labyrinths -- what other ones have you visited?
LI - thank you for your good wishes. Amazing to feel the love from across the world :).
Mimi - yes, that bright sunshine glare and cataracts and edema have not been my friend of late. Interesting you spotted the rolling clouds -- we were just a few steps ahead of that storm all the way home!
Beth - we have a list for the labyrinths in Utah so have visited three now -- two in St. George and this one. I hope to visit in other places, too.
So sorry you're having more problems--than the usual ones--with your eyes. We do hope and pray that those added problems can be solved without a lot of misery. We love you!
Your Hunsaker Kin
Gosh, I'll have to find out if there are ladyrinths in this area. It might be fun to go together the next time you're in town.
