Bonding

This jacket is a little green so I pull it out each year near St. Patrick's Day. Cricket had her annual exam today. Report: She had lost 3 lbs! I generally cut her intake a little bit in the winter months as we are not as active. Her lying on her yoga mat just doesn't burn the calories for her. However, she now has a couple pounds she can put back on. No wonder she is giving me a kiss in this picture!

The vet said she is in great health! He indicated she has a little grey around her face. I'm told I'm getting a few new grey hairs, too. She also has a little ear infection - which is so fascinating to me as so do I right now. We are bonded.

How uncanny to both have ear infections--but not very fun for either of you, I'm sure. I thought Cricket had been looking slim and trim in your recent photos; 3 pounds is a lot for a dog of her size! It's nice you can give her a little extra now. Cabana needs to lose a pound or two--not quite as pleasant going in that direction!

I am bonded to my Daisy too. I have hypothyroidism. Last week the vet said so does Daisy.

That's always a relief to get a good health report on our dogs. Even better when they maintain their weight. By keeping their weight in check, we avoid many health issues & joint problems for them. Hugs to Cricket & to you!
