Surprise

The birthday celebration continues. Today five of my colleages treated me to breakfast at Kneaders. Their all- you-can-eat cinnamon french toast was yummy. The friendships and opportunity to work with these women is fabulous. There are two beautiful babies on the end and also one on the way! Our office is growing in many ways.
They tried to pull off a surprise and asked Steve to block out my calendar for two hours last week. I was a little confused why he was wanting to spend time in the middle of the day with me when I knew he had a busy, crazy day. So, when I was asked a time that I could meet for my interview for Wasatch Woman, I chose the time that I thought Steve and I would be together. In doing so, I messed up their surprise plans and also Steve really wasn't available during that time! They pulled it off the following week. Love these ladies.

(The necklace I am wearing is from my mother-in-law for my birthday.  It is very fun and unique and have been getting compliments on it all day.)

Surprise or not, it sounds like the celebration was a success. I won't wish you a happy birthday again, 'cause I can see you're having one.
