Happy New Year

We started out our day with a special Drumming/Yoga class. After reading Shannon's amazing experience, I wanted to be there. I was happy that Steve joined me. Awesome, Shannon was also there. Two hours of a physical workout with sweat dripping and an emotional/mental journey that was amazing with Leraine Horstmanshoff singing, drumming, and chanting. I look forward to singing and dancing to her CD: Harmony. Cricket was so happy to be there and super excited to see her friends, Shannon and Jen. Silly puppy loves yoga. Mention the word and she will run to the door.
We were invited to let go of what we didn't need anymore from 2010. Visualize putting it in a boat and letting it go. We were invited to be authentic in our lives. We were invited to live 2011 as if it may be our last year. Am I living in line with that? Are my priorities consistent as if that is the truth? This message resonated with me in a positive way and I thought of Linda my friend who recently died. A story was told at her funeral: when it was time for Hospice she indicated she was busy serving others and didn't have time for Hospice. The hospice workers helped her serve others right near her death. I wish for each of us that we have many, many years ahead. I also wish for each of us that we live each day fully and see it as a gift.

My mantra continues to be I live my life with passion and compassion for others and self.

I will be defining what I am passionate about and a few measureable goals in the days to come.

Wishing you a Happy 2011 and if you are going through a difficult time, I send you love, compassion and hope for a better day.
