My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

Joy & Hope

Joy = Steve and I having the opportunity to be narrators and read the Christmas Story in Sunday School yesterday. I loved sitting by him with Cricket on the floor reading and singing Christmas Songs with friends and ward members.

Joy = Celebrating my parents 53rd anniversary. Hope it is a happy day, mom and dad. They are a team and blessed to have that example.

Joy = Family here for a pre-Christmas celebration. Cricket is perfectly content with her sweet friend.

Joy = Running 7 1/2 miles with Shannon and at the end wishing we could run longer. I don't think I stopped talking the whole time.

Joy for Cricket = Some new treats from Rays of Sunshine .
Thank you!
Hope. For many of my clients, the holidays can be an added challenging time. I wish them some joy amongst the grief. I wish them hope amongst the dark days. I wish them self-compasssion and kindness to themselves and what they are going through. I hope they will feel love and support from others this holiday season. May hope be their strength this holiday season.

Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
and never stops at all.
Emily Dickinson

I wish each of you a Happy Holiday Season surrounded by those who you love.

Hey there Becky...

...but most of all, I wish you LOVE!!! Thank you for granting us (cyber-buddies) access to your world - joy, hope and inspiration. I so badly want to see you as 'Woman of the year'...you certainly deserve it!
With love to you and your family.

Your wish of hope to your clients is so wonderful. We join you in wishing those things for people who are hurting.

Can't fathom being able to run 7+ miles and wanting to run even longer! It's truly inspirational!
