I Appreciate

Laughing. We just returned from three days of
nice(r) weather than where we live. We travelled south to St. George. (I thought of you Lacey and Erin - one of these days our paths will cross there, I hope.) A nice sunny day and then two days of rain instead of snow. It really was lovely. We contemplated not going but realized we not only go for sunny weather but to enjoy each other and to leave work behind. It was fun, relaxing, and we laughed alot.

One day, I had the chance to meet a friend for breakfast. As we walked in, the hostess said, oh I love that dog and then the waitress said oh my gosh is she blind? To which the another one said, your dog is blind? They were all so confused at this point! I smiled and explained that I was blind - the dog had good eyes. Then, they were so sorry. (No worries, can we just get to our table so we can get caught up on life!) It was pretty funny, except I felt a little bad for this friend who had not experienced this with me before. We laughed and had a great breakfast. Yes, yummy peppermint hot chocolate.

We went to the movie: Morning Glory. Didn't love it but we laughed. That's good. We sat down and the man behind asked if that dog would actually quietly lay there the whole movie. Yes, I smiled and whispered to Cricket to be a good girl that she was being watched. At the end of the movie, he complimented her on her good behavior.

One evening we travelled to attend an SUU/USU Basketball game. It was a lot of fun, however I don't remember being asked so many questions in such a short time (without giving a presentation) on Cricket. It seemed everyone was asking what this puppy was doing in their town. We laughed and answered many questions. Thank you for their willingness to learn.

We stopped in at the St. George Running Store. Steve found some great running shorts. They had some cute argyle running skirts. CUTE, but its too cold! I need warm clothes right now. I told the owner all about my fabulous friend and our running adventures and the tether she had made. He was so interested and had some great questions including - what are you going to do if she wants to run faster than you can? Hmmm, I laughed and said I hope I can keep up with her!

Energized and ready for a run in the morning (in snow) and a busy Monday at the office that will include some laughter.

Love your recap of the weekend and it's laughs. Running in the snow! Now that's something I'd like to try! Do you wear normal sneakers? Don't you slide all over the place??!!

Soooo glad you had fun in St. George. It's always nice to get away. We may have snow in the valley this afternoon, which is BIG news around here. We like the snow to stay in the mountain areas, like it's supposed to do. Our Florida friends will be thrilled.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Sounds like you had a very busy and enjoyable weekend. You are very patient and very good with all the enquiries. Sometimes I get a bit fed up explaining about Clive when we are in a hurry to get somewhere or to get something done and we keep getting stopped. Must remember to be more patient!

take care

Just getting caught up on blogging...it's been awhile since I've read others...okay, and since I've updated my blog too!
What a fun trip to St. George. We just got back from there we enjoyed a whole week there. It's so nice down there! I wish we would be down there at the same time too! It'd be so much easier for us to get together!
