Random Silliness

I am in the process of organizing my closet for Fall/Winter.  Moving out all the summer clothes and putting them downstairs and bringing up the sweaters - getting it all organized by color, etc. Its fun and almost feels like getting new clothes. I'm ready for boots. This hanger was on the floor of my closet. As a person who is blind, I get LOTS of information from my feet. I stepped on this hanger and it really did feel like
Cricket's paws. So, I said oh, I'm sorry Cricker - bent down aand then realized it was the hanger! Silly that this happened THREE times during my transition of moving my clothes before I picked up the hanger so  Cricket wouldn't keep running in to see why I was calling her name.  The closet becomes her little place to  hibernate in the winter.  She is often snuggled in the corner between the long sweaters.  Generally she moves out of the way, when she sees me coming.  If I do bump into her and say sorry, she is so quick to wag her tail and let me know its okay.
By the way, looking forward to getting a pedicure next week.  If you can see this picture, you can see its time. Maybe a little sparkle for the holidays.

Happy Weekend.  More organization, decluttering to come this weekend.  After yoga on Saturday morning have a quiet day with Steve and Kendall gone to cheer  on our Aggies.   I am going to try to stay focused and get some cleaning done ... unless something fun comes along.

Oh I did the same clothes organising a few days ago. Its funny how you forget what winter clothes you have sometimes.
My sister absolutely loves clothes and fashon so always keeps me up to date and makes sure I get rid of things that have gone out of style. She will match up outfits and remind me what looks good. If she's shopping and sees something that matches something I already have she might bring it home for me to try on. I don't even have to be with her!

She is having a sale this weekend with her friends and people from our town, to sell good quality clothes people don't want anymore. The money isn't going to charity this time, people keep the money they make. I hope it goes well. If I make some money I won't feel so bad about going to buy a few new winter things :)

I'm definitely going to declutter this weekend - unless something fun comes along.

That was cute about the hanger.

Have a great weekend!

That's so funny about the hanger. I can totally relate to how it takes a few times before it occurs to me to do something about the problem!

Hey there Becky...
I love your positivity - winters usually make me somewhat depressed - what is your special elixir? But you have a wonderful sense of humour and exuberance for life. By the way, I say "Sorry" to anything I bump into...and I am not blind! :)
You are an amazing person. Have an awesome weekend!
