I Heart these Hearts

A family that I love and have been supporting them through a difficult loss in their family recently experienced another loss. Their sweet young puppy, K, died suddenly of an unexpected heart condition. Cricket and I had the chance to have this sweet dog and family come to our office. We are hurting for them (we know how it hurts). So, we had fun making a little basket to give them tomorrow.  I'm not real crafty but I can put together a basket of some goodies.  This one has a cheery plant - I asked Steve to find the one that had the most flowers.  Four orange blooms.  Then, we gathered a variety of six different candies -
and our favorite part is these hearts with a paw print in the middle.  We have one for each of the children.
They are available at Grief Watch .
We  hope our little basket will brighten their day as they miss their sweet dog.

You have a huge heart! What a treasure this will be for the family. You are such an example to me. Your broken heart is probably being healed a little as you extend such love to someone else who is hurting. Thank you for sharing.

I'm always so sad when people lose their pets. But, I know the basket will help ease the grief.

Thanks for the idea too. I've always just sent a card, but a basket sounds perfect.

Oh Becky...I am so sorry for the loss of your friend's little pup, K! Please would you forward my sincere condolences at this difficult time...and all this on top of your own loss! I am so sorry!
Your basket of goodies is beautiful!!! In South Africa, we call those flowers 'Gerbera's' and they come in all sorts of beautiful colours!
You are very thoughtful.
