Party

We had our annual company party in our backyard. We had 51 attend. It was a lot of fun. We keep it simple. Steve barbecues his yummy salmon (atleast that is the feedback - I don't like fish) and chicken with our lemonade marinade. This year I tried a new recipe -  oven fried chicken drumsticks.  One little girl told her mom they were better than KFC!  Everyone else brings a dessert or a side dish.  We rented chairs, tables, and sage tablecloths this year.  The plates and glasses were purple and green.
Also, I used the flowers from the Open House on Thursday for the Centerpieces which had some amazing purple leaves.  I also had a fun orange daylilly - my favorite flower.   After everyone left I realized that I didn't get any pictures of the fun evening.  We just eat and visit and the kids play at the park.  Rolling down the hill, playing on the playground, a game of baseball, throwing a frisbee, jumprope were some of the activities.    Thank you to my fabulous partner, Steve.  He helped me every step of the way - even clean up while missing an Aggie Football game.  They won!
I am so grateful for such a great group of colleagues.
