Thanks, Mom

My mom gave me this fun bracelet that has sweet words on it: courage. honor.serenity. inspire. dream. cherish. laugh. grow. celebrate. give. love. believe. respect. live. breathe.  Thanks, Mom.  I love the bracelet and YOU!!
We had a little fun at Gateway today.  Cricket was such a good girl.  She stopped at Ann Taylor (yes, without even being asked) and I gave her a treat and then told her that we didn't need anything there.  We were not even going to enter the store.  Whew, it was tough, but we did it.

We waited to get out of the car until some dogs that were walking off-leash were further down the street.  As we put this picture on the blog, we realized Cricket is licking her lips.  Do you think she is a little nervous or just caught her with her mouth open.   She generally isn't at all bothered by other dogs.

Oh my goodness, I have lost two, yes TWO of my credit cards this week.  I only have three - maybe good thing!  No worries, we have ordered new ones, etc but have called in others' eyes to search and no luck.

What a drag to lose your credit cards! Your post reminds me to write down the phone number I would need to call if that happens to me.

what a neat bracelet to get from your MOM. That would make it even that more special.

Good ol' cricket, not pulling you into Ann Tyler store.
(maybe he ate your credit card??)

Shan, thanks so much.
Beth, good point! Steve is wondering if my cards have legs ... seem to be walking away.
Wendy, thank you! Yes, love special jewelery from special people. Funny - the old phrase - my dog ate my homework -- change to credit card instead of my declaring that I am absent minded and can't seem to keep track of things at times!

lol, i hate that when you lose your cards. About 10 years ago, i actually hole punched my cards and put in on a key ring and then use a carabiner and attach it to my belt loop. (along with a mini light)
Thats a nice bracelet. I miss my mom, we were very close - she died 10 years ago of cancer. Cherish all the days...
