Running - Day 2

Yesterday, Steve and I ran our second 5K run.  If you are blind or visually impaired, you have had the joy of having others describe to you.   As I am trying to stay alive (huff, puff), Steve is giving me clues as to what is ahead - veer left, parked car ahead.  For some reason, I get the giggles.  He continues, Walkers ahead, hug the right.   Grab his arm as we run around a mom and her stroller.  At one point, he mentions that he finds it a humbling experience to guide me ... such trust I have in him.  This route is a good one to start on - it has a designated path for walkers/runners.  Different muscles are being used than yoga and cycling.  My legs felt the pain throughout the day.  My soul felt the celebration of running in the beautiful  morning with my best friend and feeling ready to participate in Trudi's Run.   I ended the day with an amazing Yoga Class.

Honestly girl you make me tired. Do you think that by reading your blog I burn a few calories. Hope so.

That sounds invigorating Becky! Your energy is inspiring. I think of you a lot of the time when I'm on the treadmill - you motivate me!

Oh...and I LOVE your new office decor. :)

After running 5k, you still have the energy for yoga class? Wow. You put me to shame, that's for sure.
