Reflecting

The anticipation of having Natalie visit for the weekend, started like most. We were excited with plans of visiting grandparents, Cafe Rio, Yoga and yes, to get a pedicure and manicure. Such a fun mom/daughter activity and I am glad Cricket has realized the water is hot and isn't a giant water dish. Unfortunately, after our pedi/mani Natalie's beautiful wedding ring was missing. After an exhuastive 2-hour search at Ivy Salon, it is apparent it was stolen. So sad.

Somehow, we found time to still laugh a lot, put mud on our face, practice our yoga inversion poses with head stands, find the part in her journal where she had written when Missy came into the family, and stay up late and talk, have take-out for family dinner so that Missy could be a part of the event, and we even team taught a Relief Society lesson on Sunday.

We didn't get in a game of foosball with the boys (Steve and Kendall). This was often the family activity. Next time and in the meantime, I would love to hear the phone ring that someone had turned in Natalie's ring. Hope. Honesty. Please.

i went throught that, but i lost the diamond out of mine, in the house, and found it not 10 minutes later. Sort of freaked out but it wasn't that bad. Hope they find it and someone turns it in

Oh how awful!! That would be so heartbreaking! I'm glad you guys were still able to have fun though! I'm in desperate need of a pedicure right now! It's a definite TO DO on my list in the few weeks before the baby comes!

Sounds like you had alot of fun & laughter despite the missing ring. I'm so sorry that happened to Natalie.
