Thank you

Making the decision to have a child -- its momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking outside your body. Elizabeth Stone

I am so grateful for the joys of motherhood. Thank you, Natalie and Kendall for your love and patience with me. You both are such an incredible gift in my life. Joy fills my heart each day as I reflect on these two children that I love. I am also so appreciative to have a son-in-law, Adam, that I love as one of my own. Anytime he calls me mom, it warms my heart. The greatest gift is being together and so excited that will soon be happening. I love you, Natalie, Kendall, and Adam.

Compassion and Determination are two words to describe my mom. Her depth of compassion and love is incredible. Last Monday when I had an event in my office and needed some help she drove 3 hours to assist me. I could list time and time again when this type of situation occurs. She would give me her eyes if she could (by the way, I wouldn't take them). She has deep love and compassion for her family and all around. I learned by example from my mom (and dad) love for all and have watched them serve througout the world. She always has a project of service that she is doing.

If my mom sets her mind to something, it will be done. I recently was asked in an interview where I got my motivation and drive. I thought and then said, my mom! I grew up seeing the joy of accomplishing tasks and goals and then celebrating. My mom gave me the gift of example of setting a goal and with determination and work completing that goal. She is my cheerleader and indeed I feel special, however, she is also an avid cheerleader to my brothers, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren. We all think we are the special one to receive 'super bunny' any day.

I love you, Mom.

I feel deep gratitude today for the blessing of being a mother and the joys of being a daughter to an incredible mom.

Very true about your mom. There is a Wallentine (possibly Patterson)quality about our mothers that gives them such fierce love of their children and grandchildren!
