Excuse Me

Cricket is usually off duty in my office. It is my comfort zone - I can easily walk it with the lights out. However, at times the other therapists and I forget that clients (not mine) don't know that I am blind. They don't know to 'steer clear' of me! Recently I banged into a lady - I felt horrible and she was rather startled why this lady just practically walked into her! Excuse me, I am so sorry I tell her as one of my colleagues was laughing. (We have so much fun at our office.) I often forget how much of the world in a visual sense that I am missing out! There are indeed so many ways to experience life. However, just pulled out my cane to throw in my purse to use as I am wandering around the office. I wouldn't want to interrupt Cricket's nap time :D.

Hey, at least you have Cricket's priorities straight! My dogs are currently VERY unhappy with me as their walk by the river was just that tonight...BY the river and not in the river.
