My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

The World

I remember as a little girl being fascinated with the globe that was in my grandparents house -- spinning it around and dreaming about places to visit. We had a globe when our kids were growing up. They both love to travel and have places they are planning and dreaming to visit. So, when we were recently at Ikea I loved this map of the world. It is our new addition to an empty wall downstairs in our recreation room. I love it. Its a fun conversation piece and we have reminisced about places traveled and places yet to visit and talked about happenings in the world. We have been fortunate to travel on some incredible adventures and I am hoping for more to come. Cricket, of course, poses by the side to give a dimension in the size.

I've always loved to have a giant poster of the world. It is amazing to see everywhere you've been and everywhere left to go!
