My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

Cricket and I are getting on a plane the end of the week. We are SO excited. The suitcase is out and Cricket is staying close by - wondering where? how long? am I going? who are we going to see? I love that she just knows she wants to go even without having the answers.
Today I finally have my new dental implanet completed! Wow - a missing tooth for four months. At the dentist's office they took x-rays and decided Cricket should leave the room while this was happening. She was very concerned about leaving my side. We both are glad are many visits to the dentist are complete for a while.

I returned to yoga today (no pushups but the stretching of the mind and body felt great). Several people said they'd really missed Cricket!

We are super excited to be visiting a puppy raiser group in a couple weeks. Can I get through talking about what my guide dog means to me and my gratitude for all the puppy raisers without crying? No!
