Smile

My friend and I found a fun new place for brunch yesterday. We slid into the corner - Cricket settled in for a nap and we spent two hours getting caught up on our lives. Such fun! While we were there the breakfast crowd left and lunch began. As we stood up to leave and walked to the counter to pay it was a little crowded so Cricket and I slipped out while my friend was taking care of the bill. The lady asked her if I was training the dog. My friend said no, she was my guide dog. The lady said oh wow, is she like totally blind. My friend said it took her by such surprise that she said ... well she's pretty close. As she got in the car, we laughed so hard at my slipping out and having her deal with the questions!

I think there must be times when you can have ALOT of fun with this situation of blindness.
