Thanks Mom & Dad

(Picture with my parents. Cricket is too low to make the picture - only her leash is showing.)
My parents will call tomorrow morning and wish me Happy Birthday. They'll reminisce on what life was like the day I was born and then they'll sing to me. What a gift to have parents that I can always count on. As I hit this big middle-age of 45, I am reminded how thankful I am to them! Thankful Simplicity is a term I've been hearing and I like it. Simply thankful for great parents who brought me into this world and for 45 years have loved me and cheered me on in whatever I was doing. One of their gifts this year was a little bag and on the outside it read: Becky's Attributes. On the inside were 20 different positive qualities about me each wrapped around some money. Long after the money is gone, this little bag with these slips of paper is priceless - it reminds me of what a gift it is to have parents who have always believed in me.
