Do What You Can

Following the heartbreak in Haiti can leave us so sad and overwhelmed. Such devastation and grief is incomprehensible. Perhaps, Teddy Roosevelt's quote: Do what you can, where you are, with what you have. applies. We can each do something to help - whether it is making a contribution or having it be a reminder to help someone in our own neighborhood today. Reach out and give love to someone today. As I follow the events and search for how I can help, I find inspiration and hope in stories like this:

The situation in Haiti is truly dreadful. We have been listening to the reports with horror but it was positive to read in the papers here today that fundraising efforts here in Ireland have been so good. As you say, everyone has to do their bit to help.

We mentioned your blog in our post the other day - one of our inspirational new friends!

take care
