Observations

With the cooler weather I noticed a few differences on our bike route. The trees that are normally very noisy with birds were silent. (gone south?) The previous rustling and scurrying we could hear on Legacy trail (Steve told me was mice running around)is now quiet. Too cold for the mice. Some of the smells on the trail were gone. I mentioned to Steve, we are the only ones on the trail and he told me we had passed several cyclists. (Cricket you still have a job :D). Cooler weather seemed to bring a more silent ride. Our water bottles still had ice at the end of our route. I miss the warm weather. Only consolation - need a cute & warm cycling outfit.

Oh Becky, I will look for a tandem bike on the trail as Randy and I ride along Legacy Parkway. I'll yell "Steve" and see who responds! I'm with you, my friend, I'm missing the warm weather already and it will take a minute to adjust to the cold. Brrrrrr!!!! I'm enjoying this re-connection with you ...

It's surely not as cold here in No CA as in Utah, but I wished for gloves on my walk this morning! The world is definitely turning on its axis (is that the correct astronomical phenomenon?).

Mimi - Yes, chill is in the air even in N Ca it sounds like! Sounds astronomically correct to me :D
