My Captains

Stoker (noun): the rear cyclist on a tandem bicycle; power-maker.
The front cyclist is referred to as the captain - the one guiding the team.

We have logged in over 600 miles on the bike this summer with more to come. With the cooler weather, we have had to be more creative on finding time to ride as we prepare for our Century Ride in two weeks.

My other captain in the picture is Cricket. I'm not sure how many miles we have logged this year but I would guess around 600 also.

So a few similarities with my two captains: they both have my safety top priority, they both love to cuddle, they both love to go, and they both let me think I am the 'power maker'.

I've been known with both captains to scream and say -- whee, what a ride this is!

Debi - agree.

Sarah - wow five that keeps you busy. No Cricket doesn't go on our rides with us. Its one of the few times she is left behind. She now recognizes our clothes and knows what it means.
