Savoring

I recently enjoyed another amazing conference on: The Power of Self-Compassion. It was amazing and full of great ideas that I look forward to sharing with my clients (and friends and family if they are interested!)

One of the concepts was We Practice Self-Compassion by being able to Savor.

Do you let yourself enjoy a compliment?
Have you lingered over a delicious meal lately?
Can you revel in the love you feel for certain people?
Do you let yourself laugh outloud when you're happy?
Is it okay to feel pride in accomplishment?
Do you take pictures to remember great times?
Do you have friends who really know how to enjoy themselves?

My colleague who I attended the conference with told me I was a savorer. I'm savoring that compliment!

Reading that made me realize that the way I savor things is different than the way others might. Interesting to think about how to savor things!!!!

A very nice post...I savor...but can do much better when I relish savoring and stay in the moment.
