Thinking 'Outside the Bowl'

Before leaving on vacation I took Cricket's work bowl home to clean. For two days straight, I have forgotten to bring it back to the office. So, she has eaten her dinner off of a plate! On Monday, she looked at it questioningly like seriously you want me to eat my food from this! Today, she didn't even question it.

Upon completing my last session tonight, which was an amazing one with three young children -- everything was misplaced in my office including my phone. (We painted hearts) I was the only one still at the office so I got online and Adam, my son in law, in San Diego was on emailed him and asked him to call my # to see if it would ring and I could find it ... I'd turned it off, on to plan b - he called Steve to let him know I was finished and ready for a ride home.
I'm not too creative in many areas but find myself being pretty resourceful in creatively making it through the day.

Desparate times call for desparate measures...esp when it comes to dinner for Cricket!!!

Its all about finding a way to get it done and utilizing what is in front of you to do so. :) We need to get you a phone clip or something...or one of those things you can hang on a wall somewhere in your office for "important things" - keys, cell phone, etc. Then, you need to train your patients and coworkers to always be on the lookout - that if the "key" items are not in the bin, they need to find them and put them there. :)

You are amazing for sure. Glad Adam is just part of the tribe and so helpful.

Nicole - Great suggestions, thank you! At times it gets crazy and all my well intended adaptive skills are thrown out!

Mom - Yes, Adam is such a great addition to the family.

Long time . . .
Better get back to your mindfulness practice, slowing down Sweetheart.
One must laugh at one self, huh?
