My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

Processing & Cycling

Funny - I love having a couple in my office - turning the chairs so they look into each other's eyes and invite them to share how they are feeling. This can be a magical experience as they reconnect ... (in my profession the timing must be right).
Ironic that some of Steve and I's best conversations are on our tandem bike pedaling away as we discuss our day, good, mundane & challenging parts are processed as we pedal away. We talk about our future dreams. As Natalie stated it just makes life so nice to be sharing it with someone you love.

One of my gifts for our anniversary was Aimee's beautiful illustration of a couple on a tandem bike. Love it ... and plan to frame it with one of our pictures cycling away.

We often finish a ride with a hug and telling each other how grateful we are for our health and that we can enjoy this together.
