Pantera & Alger Bench

Our bench arrived to remember guides: Pantera and Alger who passed away last year.
The bench reads: Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart, your spirit lives within me, forever in my heart.Isn't it nice that our hearts have room for so much love. There will always be a special place in my heart for my first guide, Pantera. Among the many things I love about this girl -- was her grace and dignity in retirement. She helped getting my second guide, Cricket, be so easy. She lovingly stepped aside and become a beautiful pet for a year and a half before she died. I dig in the dirt and have happy memories of the past with Pantera while enjoying and loving the present with Cricket.

I am hoping Rod or Connie will comment and share about Alger. Rod and I graduated in the same class with Pantera and Alger. They were very close friends and died 2 months from each other.

What a lovely way to remember Pantera & Alger. I can't wait to see your memory bench.

As much as those two dogs loved each other that is a fitting tribute to them. We all thought they had quite a crush on each other.
