My fun mother's day gifts included some hot pink earrings from Adam and Natalie, two giant bags of peanut m and m's (my favorite munching item) from Kendall, and Natalie gave me the fabulous book "Secrets of Simplicity" by Mary Carlomagno. I am loving it and trying to apply more of it in my life. One of the firt assignments in the book is the closet. For every item, run through the "should I keep it" checklist:
Does it fit?
Is it worn or torn?
Is it out of fashion?
When was the last time I wore it?
Will I wear it again?
And, perhaps I should add - is it nice and snuggly for Cricket? She loves to sleep in my closet.

If it doesn't make you feel fabulous, it does not belong in your closet. I put on a shirt that I love but does not seem to fit right (guess I should be more careful about what I put in the dryer). It was sad to realize the shirt probably needs to go....good for you!
I got rid of a HUGE load of stuff from the past that I DO NOT need to carry around any more!!!! Thanks Becky! I couldn't have done it without you!
Good Luck on your review today Cricket! I know you will do GREAT! Love, Kibby
I will join you in the simplicity trek today

Gosh, maybe I should fly Natalie up here to help me go through my clothes. My closet is a mess & it's very hard for me to part with some of my things........HELP!
