Cricket and I spent the day at our office with our Mother's Day Remembrance It was a beautiful day with new friendships made and a time to honor women who have had a child die and women who are remembering their mothers who have died. I hope those who attended left feeling they had come to a place of serenity, encouragement and companionship. We look forward to making this an annual event in our office. Within each of us is the capacity to heal and in any given moment we do the best that we can.
Prior to the event Cricket and I were at the office preparing and getting the food ready. I was in our kitchen area and heard a munching sound! My little princess was enjoying the bagel that had fallen on the floor! She was not 'on duty' but still obviously a no, no. I think Cricket heard her loudest NO from me she has in the past two years. Cricket spent the seminar on her bed - looking a little guilty don't you think!
She received many loves and encouragement from the participants, however, inspite of her moment of naughtiness.

I'm glad it went well mom!
Thanks for your help, Natalie!!
Glad to hear the day was a success. Sheesh, a loud NO over a little bagel??? What fun are you mom?? Not that I am one to talk...I have been known to say rather loudly...YOU LEAVE THAT!!!
She is such a good girl - she doesn't hear no very often - so she acted a little shocked - like wow - that must have been serious! I think I was disappointed she ate the apple strudel bagel - yum!!
Thanks Becky for All your sweet Goodness. Cricket is really a very good girl too :=)Love, SuzyG and Mirage
I wish I could have been there in memory of my mom. It would have been a nice way to remember her.
Debi - I wish you could of joined us also to honor your beautiful mom.
Susan - yes, you are right -- Cricket is a good girl - most of the time!
